This September witnesses the landmark of China CSP’s burst. RMB 1.15/kWh (over USD 17 cents) was confirmed as FiT for the first phase pilot CSP projects, and 20 CSP projects with total capacity of 1.349GW were awarded out of the 109 candidates. The policy says all the projects should be finished by the end of 2018 so as to enjoy the FiT of RMB 1.15/kWh, indicating only 27 months left. Moreover, CSP allocation during the 13th Five-year (2016-2020) China is expected to be 5GW indicated by National Energy Administration (NEA). The first phase 1.349GW is just a great beginning for China’s CSP blossoming. Hundreds of CSP projects are being planned or even developed; Over RMB 200 billion investment is on the way.
