China National Energy Administration officially launched the finalist list of the 1st Phase CSP pilot projects today on September 14, 2016. 20 CSP projects with total capacity of 1.349GW won, among which 9 are of tower, 8 parabolic trough and 4 Fresnel.
Earlier on September 1, Pricing Department of China National Development and Reform Commission announced the FiT for CSP pilot projects of RMB 1.15/kWh (about USD 17.2 cents /kWh). Both the FiT and finalists are finally confirmed after the long wait since last September. China CSP market is widely considered to be entering the real blossoming age, and will be a new engine for world CSP market.
